Going up against tough competition, Lebanon Valley College men's cross country notched a strong seventh-place showing at the Lock Haven Open Invitational.
Four Dutchmen - Sammy Bost (women's soccer), Greta Weidemoyer (volleyball), and Michael Harnish and Kelsey Patrick (cross country) - have been named players of the week by the Middle Atlantic Conference.
Kelsey Patrick's individual title led Lebanon Valley's women to first, and Michael Harnish won the men's race to put the men in second in the 42nd Annual Dutchmen Invitational at Memorial Lake State Park.
The 42nd Annual Dutchmen Invitational will descend on Union Canal Tunnel Park in Lebanon Saturday, with 56 college and high school teams running in the meet.
Coming off successful 2013 runs and strong winter and spring track seasons, LVC cross country returns for 2014 with plenty of optimism as they hunt for MAC titles.
